HI, I'M FEDERICO PORRO,
a 25-year-old multidisciplinary designer and brand strategist based in Milan. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano, where I also completed my Bachelor’s Degree, after an earlier diploma in Graphic Design and Communication (download CV).
My vision is to make culture, in its broadest sense, more accessible and engaging through immersive and multisensory experiences, shaped by a sustainable design approach. Through research and data analysis, I extract insights to inform strategy and storytelling, transforming complex ideas into clear, meaningful systems (Okome).
This foundation guides my work in interaction and spatial design, centered on creating intuitive interfaces and immersive environments, with a strong focus on usability (Mi ami festival / Play for Change). and developing design systems with strong visual identities and editorial outputs, with particular emphasis on typography (Alter eco / Kinesis). Alongside, I work across photography, videomaking and sound design, combining concept, direction, and post-production to create narrative-driven content for campaigns, short films, and experimental formats (Saor short film / Design week 25).
Art has always been a fundamental source of inspiration for me, encompassing visual arts, cinema, exhibitions, and installations. I’m constantly drawn to its power to question, move, and connect. Beyond design, music is an essential presence in my everyday life: I play several instruments, primarily guitar and piano, and often integrate sound into my creative practice. Sport is another important part of who I am. I love adrenaline-driven disciplines such as skiing and horse riding, and I’ve been practicing competitive show jumping for over 15 years, but that’s another story (see my athlete CV).
