HI, I'M FEDERICO PORRO,
a 25 years old multidisciplinary designer and brand strategist from Milan (see my projects).
I’m currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano, where I also completed my Bachelor’s, after an earlier diploma in Graphic and Communication (download cv).
My vision is to make culture, in its broadest sense, more accessible and engaging through immersive and multisensory experiences, shaped by a sustainable design approach.
Through research and data analysis, I extract insights to craft strategy and storytelling, shaping narratives that turn complex ideas into clear, meaningful systems (Okome / thesis project).
This foundation guides my work in interaction and spatial design, where I craft intuitive interfaces and immersive environments, with a strong focus on usability (Mi ami festival / Play for Change).
I explore the visual dimension of design by shaping strong identities and developing systems through graphic and editorial outputs, always with particular emphasis on typography (Alter eco / Kinesis).
I also work across photography, video and sound design, combining concept, direction and post-production to create narrative-driven content for campaigns, short films and experimental formats (Saor short film / Design week 25).
Art has always been a fundamental source of inspiration for me, from visual arts to cinema, exhibitions and installations, I’m constantly drawn to its power to question, move and connect.
Beyond design, music is a constant in my life. I play several instruments, mainly guitar and piano, and often compose original tracks, which I also integrate into my video and sound design projects.
Sport is another important part of who I am. I love adrenaline-driven disciplines like skiing and horse riding, and I’ve been practicing show jumping competitively for over 15 years, but that’s another story (see my athlete cv).
